Upholstered in House of Hackney’s Hollyhocks velvet in Autumn, the Volta Hollyhocks Footstool is a joyful, painterly piece designed to bring colour, warmth and character to a room.

Created in collaboration with American fine artist Kerry Simmons, the Hollyhocks print has a vivid, garden-like quality - rich with colour, movement and floral detail. Finished with a gold-toned House of Hackney bullion fringe, the footstool balances bold pattern with a classic decorative trim. Designed for everyday use, it works beautifully as a footstool, occasional seat or accent piece - whether placed in a living room, hallway, dressing room, reading corner or a child’s bedroom.

Handcrafted in our Birmingham workshop, the footstool is made with a birch plywood frame, hand-stitched bullion fringe, a felt-lined base and discreet slider feet for ease of movement.
