Hello there!
I started Atelier Sandip from a simple belief: furniture should never be thrown away just because it is tired, worn or out of fashion. In a world where so much is disposable, I wanted to give old furniture a second act and create new pieces that feel personal, distinctive and built to last.
I began making furniture because I could never quite find the pieces I had in mind - first for myself, then for family and friends. That is where my obsession with creating things by hand began.
My work blends formal training, self-taught curiosity and a deep appreciation for the history and character of each piece. Whether restoring a Victorian nursing chair, designing bespoke seating or creating an upholstered feature wall, every project is approached with care, imagination and a focus on lasting quality.
Based in the West Midlands and working across the UK, I specialise in bespoke upholstery and furniture design, combining traditional craft with modern techniques and a boldly creative eye for fabric and detail.
Have an idea in mind, or just a photo and a dream? Drop me a message.
Let's create a showstopper together.
