Description
Upholstered in Christian Lacroix Maison for Designers Guild’s Cotillons in Mosaique, the Parson Cotillons Footstool is a square statement piece with an artful, architectural edge.
The fabric combines a graphic, collage-like ground with vivid cobalt-blue botanical lines, creating a striking balance of structure and movement. Finished with matching piping and a pearl-toned Samuel & Sons bullion fringe, it feels bold and decorative while still sitting comfortably within a considered interior.
Designed for everyday use, the footstool works beautifully as a footstool, occasional seat or accent piece - whether placed in a living room, bedroom, library or a more neutral scheme that needs a confident hit of pattern.
Handcrafted in our Birmingham workshop, the footstool is made with a birch plywood frame, hand-stitched bullion fringe, a felt-lined base and discreet slider feet for ease of movement. Generously proportioned and reassuringly weighty, it feels solid, stable and made to be used.
Made to order, with one piece currently available for immediate dispatch.
Why we love it
We love the Parson Cotillons Footstool for its clever mix of geometry, pattern and colour. The Cotillons print has a Cubist, collage-like quality, while the cobalt-blue vines bring a more organic rhythm across the surface. The pearl-toned fringe softens the square form and gives the piece a quietly glamorous finish - bold, thoughtful and far from ordinary.
